About the Position:

We are seeking experienced Mindfulness Coaches to support a comprehensive Human Performance and Holistic Health & Fitness program serving Air Force personnel. The Mindfulness Coach will support cognitive resilience, mindfulness, stress management, mental performance, and overall non-physical aspects of human performance.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary Human Performance team and provide practical, mission-focused guidance to personnel operating in high-tempo and demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide mindfulness and mental-performance coaching to individual and group participants.
Conduct Human Performance evaluations and identify relevant performance and resilience needs.
Develop and deliver mindfulness and performance-enhancement sessions.
Support cognitive resilience, stress management, decision-making under stress, and fatigue-management objectives.
Develop individualized guidance appropriate to different occupational and mission requirements.
Provide practical techniques that personnel can continue independently when deployed or operating without direct contractor support.
Participate in unit training and Human Performance activities.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, coaching sessions, participant activities, and outcomes.
Prepare monthly performance reports and documentation.
Collaborate with Athletic Trainers and Functional Strength Coaches as part of an integrated Human Performance program.
Participate in meetings, professional development, training, and program coordination.
Work effectively in field environments and under changing operational requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or Counseling.
Applicable NBCC accreditation/qualification for National Certified Counselor (NCC).
Minimum two (2) years of professional experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in a professional environment.
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary Human Performance team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be able to successfully complete required background, security, drug-screening, installation-access, and other contract-related requirements.
